Summit Employees Volunteer 100 Hours for Operation Christmas Miracle

December 20, 2016 Sean Martin

What better way to kick off the holiday season than to help those in need?

Over the weekend, more than twenty Summit staff members and guest volunteers worked with Central Union Mission to make Operation Christmas Miracle a reality.

Our team volunteered over 100 hours in the cold, ice, and rain to bring holiday presents and holiday cheer to hundreds of families in the DC area. They carried bags of toys (and holiday joy!) to peoples' cars and helped ensure that every family is able to celebrate the holiday season.

Last year, Summit worked with Central Union Mission to provide fully stocked backpacks to homeless children in DC ahead of the school year.

Our philanthropy committee Summit Together helps provide volunteer opportunities for our employees so they can give back to the community. Thank you to all the Summiteers who contributed to this great cause. Keep an eye on the Summit Blog for details on our next event!
