August 30, 2019 (Washington, D.C.) -- Summit is proud to announce that it was highlighted in NBC’s KnowYourValue.com platform for its role in supporting women in STEM. In this article, female practitioners of data science and quantitative consulting share tips for how to work in STEM when you may be a minority, perhaps the only woman in the room. Summit is proud to have a culture that supports the career development of women and trans, non-binary, and gender-fluid people.

“We’ve built an intentional culture at Summit that allows every voice to be heard," said Chief of Corporate Development Jennifer Folsom. Kaye Burton, leader of the gender-inclusive mentorship program, elaborates that “it’s important for both men and women to have mentors and be mentored. In our experience, this is the best practice for growing careers with both diverse skill sets and deep expertise. And it ensures that staff members are treated equally when it comes to new opportunities inside our company.”
