Summit Presents at the Committee on Healthcare Financing Annual Meeting

June 9, 2016 (Washington, DC) – Scott Burroughs, a Senior Manager in Summit's Federal Credit and Modeling practice, moderated a panel titled "Reflections on Working with HUD" for the Committee on Healthcare Financing Annual Meeting on June 7, 2016.

Panelists included Susana Araoz, Robert Baxter, and James Levine, experts from the healthcare financing industry. Mr. Burroughs was accompanied by Senior Consultant Jim Oser and Senior Analyst Allison Rabin

The presenters discussed trends, themes, and lessons learned from their work with the U.S. Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Section 232 Program, which finances nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and board and care facilities.

"We are honored to support HUD's mission in a variety of ways,” Mr. Burroughs said. "From due diligence underwriting to risk metrics and analytics, we are proud of Summit's experience helping HUD effectively fund the healthcare facilities that are crucial to local communities."
