Summit Awarded Contract with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

In late September 2012, Summit was awarded a contract to provide data administration, technical support, and statistical analysis support for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). This project, which has the potential to become a four-year engagement, entails analysis of detailed administration data for the Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) competitive Homeless Assistance Grant (HAG) programs. This wealth of data is used to ensure that HUD is effectively serving the homeless through efficient application of the $1.8 billion appropriated to the SNAPS HAG programs annually. The collected and analyzed data is presented in an Annual Progress Report, which helps guide and adjust program policy.

In addition to the CPD project, Summit works in support of HUD’s Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Office of Systemic Investigations, Office of Sustainable Housing and Communities Grant Program, and Federal Housing Agency (FHA) National Servicing Center Data System and Process Evaluation. The Summit Team is grateful for the opportunity to once again serve HUD in their administrative and analytic needs.
