Summit Principal Curcio to Moderate Panel at Association of Public Data Users Conference

September 11, 2017 (Washington D.C.) Summit Principal Anthony Curcio will moderate a panel on data integration at this year’s Association of Public Data Users’ Annual Conference, which takes place September 13th and 14th in Arlington, Virginia.

Curcio’s panel, “Data Integration to Improve Program Effectiveness,” explores how federal agencies use administrative data to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their policies and programs. The panel will be held at 10:45 a.m. on September 14th, the second day of the conference.

Curcio will moderate a discussion with Molly Irwin, Chief Evaluation Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor, Mike Willis, Assistant Director in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and Rebecca Bilbro, lead Data Scientist at ByteCubed.

“Many agencies are already using administrative data to monitor performance and compliance," Curcio said. "However, with forethought and preparation, administrative data can be used as a basis for business intelligence tools, effectiveness evaluation, and even advanced analytics. That’s the panel’s area of focus.”

Summit will also exhibit at the conference, which brings together data scientists and data managers from private and public sectors.
