This April, Summit added three new staff members to our team. To help lead the research and analysis needed on our multiple new engagements, we’ve added team members at all levels – Research Associate, Senior Consultant, and Consultant.
Dr. George Cave is a labor Economist with over 16 years of direct experience applying labor economics, econometrics, and survey research methods to policy and performance measurement issues involving youth development, education, and workforce development. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. He joins Summit as a Research Associate and will work on multiple engagements with the Department of Labor.
Ms. Bethany Moore holds a Master’s degree in economics from Washington University of St. Louis. She has extensive research experience in sociology of labor markets in South Africa, a topic on which she wrote and defended a senior thesis. These skills, along with her experience with Stata and SPSS, will be useful in her role as Senior Consultant.
Summit also welcomes Mr. Shane Thompson to the team as a Consultant. Mr. Thompson recently completed his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Arizona this May. His experience includes teaching appointments and research focusing on economics and education. Using skills in statistical methodologies in program evaluation and policy analysis, Mr. Thompson will support multiple engagements at Summit.
