Dr. Austin Lasseter Will Be Co-Instructor at AERA 2017

December 5, 2016 (Washington, DC) -  Dr. Austin Lasseter will be a co-instructor for a course in statistical methodology at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2017 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX. The course is entitled Hierarchical Linear Modeling with Large-Scale International Databases.

From last year’s course overview:

This course will teach participants how to conduct multilevel analyses using hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) with data from international educational datasets, including PIRLS, TIMSS, and PISA. The content of the course will include a presentation on the design of large-scale international studies and databases, and implications for HLM analysis. Participants will learn how to specify simple two- and three-level models using the HLM 7 software package, incorporating students, classes or schools, and countries as hierarchical levels.

The course is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
