Jennifer Folsom promoted to Human Capital Manager

After a summer of rapid growth, Summit has promoted Jennifer Folsom from Talent Manager to Human Capital Manager. This change brings full-time status to Ms. Folsom’s role, due to the fact that she has been pivotal in seeking and securing cutting-edge talent on behalf of the firm.

Jennifer has been a driving force in expanding Summit’s professional development offerings. In a series of working groups and with consultation from outside experts, Jennifer will be developing a number of internal educational courses for current and future Summit staff to expand their learning opportunities. She has also been a pioneer for new benefits for staff, including 401(k) accounts, flexible spending accounts, and Capital Bikeshare memberships.

In a previous role as Partner at Momentum Resources, Ms. Folsom led the company to grow extensively even during recession, an accomplishment that was honored by nomination to Inc. 500’s “Fastest Growing Companies” list. Her ambition and commitment has already had a great impact on our office, and we look forward to what her presence will bring to Summit in the coming years.
