Ian McCulloh, PhD

Ian McCulloh, PhD, joined the advisory board in February 2025. McCulloh has more than 35 years of experience across government, academia, and industry with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and statistical consulting. McCulloh is the AI portfolio director for Johns Hopkins University continuing and executive education and holds joint faculty positions in computer science and public health.
He also serves as the executive director of the Brain Rise Foundation, which advances AI and neuroscience research to equip frontline treatment centers with innovative patient care solutions. He was the inaugural chief data scientist and managing director of Accenture’s federal AI practice, and he is also a retired Army veteran. McCulloh serves as a resource on consulting engagements and technical delivery of AI and data science solutions. His strategic advice is helping Summit be the firm of choice for AI and quantitative consulting services.
Summit’s advisory board consists of key players in the consulting and data science fields. This board advises Summit partners on industry trends and how to navigate federal and commercial industries.
