George Scott brings more than 35 years of experience in government oversight, program integrity, fraud risk management, and organizational accountability. He has served in senior leadership roles across the federal government, including Acting Inspector General and Deputy Inspector General at NASA and Managing Director at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). Most recently, he has advised loan-making agencies on fraud risk management, internal controls, oversight, and program integrity initiatives.
George is a Certified Fraud Examiner with a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. He also served as senior executive fellow for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
The depth of George’s experience and his ability to help loan and grant-making organizations navigate complex risks, strengthen accountability, and improve program outcomes make him a strong addition to our team. He has led fraud risk assessments, developed anti-fraud strategies for major federal programs, and worked closely with agency leaders, Congress, and oversight organizations to solve challenging issues and drive meaningful results.
