Summit Wins DOL ADRA

October 2018 (Washington, D.C.) – Summit Consulting (Summit) is proud to announce our latest win: a five-year Administrative Data Research and Analysis (ADRA) Project with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Chief Evaluation Office (CEO). The purpose of this contract is to analyze administrative datasets from various agencies within DOL to answer programmatic research questions. This will be Summit’s third iteration of the ADRA contract to support CEO and other DOL agencies This new ADRA project allows Summit to continue using data analytics to help DOL support workers, job seekers, and retirees. Previously published reports under this contract, as well as other projects funded by DOL CEO, can be found on DOL CEO’s website  https://www.dol.gov/asp/evaluation/CompletedStudies.htm

With this award, we bring a new partner to complement our team’s strong analytical skillset. Mathematica Policy Research (Mathematica), who also previously held its own ADRA contract, bolsters our team with seasoned staff from its Employment Research practice  https://www.mathematica-mpr.com/our-focus-areas/employment.

Summit’s health and employment director, Oswaldo Urdapilleta, Ph.D., states, “We are honored that CEO continues to trust our team with projects that answer the challenging research questions posed by agencies using their existing administrative data. We look forward to using our partnership with Mathematica to solve new data challenges and continue to contribute to the evidence-based culture that CEO has fostered within the Department.” Manager Heather Brotsos adds, “We look forward to applying our deep and broad knowledge of DOL’s administrative datasets to answer new questions and inform critical policy decisions.”
