Ms. Laura Hoesly is a Consultant who supports the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and commercial clients. She leads analysts in reviewing and analyzing data to support their clients’ needs. Her teams conduct data quality reviews, merge and clean data, pull statistical samples, generate summary statistics, and build econometric models. Her work covers many different topics including: health claims, mortgages, product subscriptions, and operator call centers. She has prepared reports and other supporting materials for consumption by the public, commissions, juries, and judges. She also specializes in reviewing processes to identify risk points and developing strategies and protocols to analyze the implications of these risks and to mitigate them. She has expertise in Stata, R, SAS, Excel, GitLab, and Minitab.
She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in applied statistics and a minor in economics.
