Christine Shaughnessy

Senior Consultant

Ms. Shaughnessy is a Senior Consultant with Summit and currently part of a team tasked to design and develop Federal Credit cash flow models for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). Her responsibilities require intensive data analysis that includes streamlining and consolidating large datasets from various interfaces. Her work has included creating dynamic models using both Microsoft Excel and Stata. She has developed a strong knowledge of the unique characteristics of the OPIC loan portfolio due to the flexibility necessitated by the models. She is a highly skilled financial and Federal Credit analyst with hands-on experience with credit subsidy cost estimation and the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB’s) Credit Subsidy Calculator 2 (CSC2).  In addition, Ms. Shaughnessy has experience working for the non-profit industry, where she gained knowledge of financial data analysis. Ms. Shaughnessy has a strong financial and quantitative background and experience in data management, statistical and econometric analysis, and economic research from client and academic work at Boston College and American University.

Ms. Shaughnessy earned her M.A. in international affairs, focusing on international economic relations, from American University.
