Summit Wins Additional Contract to Support DOL EBSA

We’re proud to announce another engagement adding to our portfolio of work with the U.S. Department of Labor. Summit has won the opportunity to provide the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) with data analysis and statistical support services in support of their mission to protect workers’ rights.

EBSA is charged with ensuring that employers are providing benefits to their employees as required under Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Under this engagement, Summit will provide statistical and data analysis in support of individual investigations of employee benefit plans that may be in noncompliance with ERISA. Summit will also provide training for investigative staff in statistical methods, including advanced statistical sampling techniques.

Summit has also assisted EBSA in developing predictive analytic capabilities to help EBSA better target enforcement efforts, and by providing an estimate of overall ERISA compliance.
