Dr. Albert Lee was recently mentioned in the UCLA Fund Chancellor’s Society eNewsletter for his donation to the alumni scholarship fund. As noted in the Spring 2015 edition, Albert’s donation goes toward specifically assisting out-of-state students from the Washington, DC area attend the university.
Dr. China Layne has been invited to present her research at the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) 2015 Annual Meeting. Her research is entitled “Best Places for Finding a Job: The Role of Regional Occupational Structure in Residents’ Employment Prospects” and was accepted to be presented at the conference, being held this May in Pittsburgh, PA.
Earlier this week, Justin Foote, Summit’s Contracts Administrator, earned his Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation after successfully completing the certification exam.
Summit Principal Anthony Curcio and Roger Von Elm, Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen, today published a white paper on fair value accounting in Federal Credit budgeting. Fair value accounting is a topic of interest for many practitioners in Federal Credit, largely due to the House and Senate Budget Committees having recently introduced bills that could overhaul the way Federal lending programs are scored, which could impact the budget cost and operations of these programs.
Two of Summit's leaders, Dr. Albert Lee and Amy Deora, contributed to an article recently published in Housing Policy Debate, titled, "Comparing the Life-Cycle Costs of New Construction and Acquisition-Rehab of Affordable Multifamily Rental Housing." Other co-authors include Charles Wilkins, Maya Brennan, Anker Heegaard, and Jeffrey Lubell.
