Greg Tyng Earns PMP Certification

Last week, Mr. Greg Tyng passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam. This designation means that Mr. Tyng has successfully learned and demonstrated core competencies to lead and direct high-value projects.

PMP certification is provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which also administers the exam. Applicants are tested on their understanding of five project management domains: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing a project. This intensive exam also tests understanding of processes and knowledge areas within those domains, with the goal of ensuring comprehensive ability to lead successful engagements.

Mr. Tyng is a Consultant at Summit and primarily supports an engagement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Office of Healthcare Programs (OHP), providing risk management analysis services. Mr. Tyng’s new certification makes him an asset to any team, now in terms of both technical capability and attention to vital management principles.
