DOL Publishes Summit Report on Veteran Job Seekers

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) today published a Summit report examining facets of employment for veterans, notably how federally funded employment services assist outcomes for this group of job seekers.

The report, titled "Veteran and Non-Veteran Job Seekers: Exploratory analysis of services and outcomes for customers of federally-funded employment services" and available on CEO's website, is the culmination of Summit's engagement with DOL on this research topic. DOL contracted with Summit to examine the American Job Center (AJC) experience of veterans, from registration to post-exit outcomes. Specifically, the study examines the impact of the programs on employment and earnings for veterans, program duration and timeliness of service, and how geography and demographics influence outcomes.
