Last week, Tim Satterfield and Randall Ronsberg learned that their hard work in SAS coursework had paid off—they passed their certification tests!
SAS is a statistical software platform that is used for advanced data analysis, predictive analytics, and data management. Summit uses the software on multiple engagements that require manipulation and management of large datasets.
Tim and Randall, who both support engagements with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), are now SAS Certified Base Programmers for SAS 9 and are able to write programs to better suit their needs. This certification makes their work more efficient and their analysis more robust.
