Summit is Among the Companies Awarded a $100 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement by the U.S. Department of Labor

Summit, a leading provider of sophisticated data analysis to Federal government agencies as well as private-sector clients, announces today its selection for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

The agreement is valued at up to $100 million over five years. Tasks that the Washington, DC-based company may perform under this BPA include:

  • Evaluating specific programs as requested by the DOL's Office of the Chief Evaluation Officer (CEO) that involve a range of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, such as cost-benefit analysis, implementation analysis, outcome analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Collecting data by carrying out surveys and obtaining administrative data from DOL agencies nationwide, conducting site visits, and convening focus groups.
  • Providing support to assist the DOL in securing approval from the Office of Management and Budget for administering surveys or other data-collection activities under the Paperwork Reduction Act.
  • Analyzing existing DOL data – and data collected from various CEO evaluations – for briefings, papers or written reports.
  • Creating public-use and restricted-use datasets and/or Web sites by request from the CEO.
  • Preparing and presenting findings from analyses and studies at conferences where audiences may consist of executive-level DOL leaders and senior policymakers, including elected officials and/or their staff members.

“We have provided an array of services to the Department of Labor over the past few years, and this new contract further establishes us as a key contractor to this Federal agency,” says Summit Principal Anthony Curcio.
