Summit Attends 13th Biennial Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology (FCSM) Policy Conference

November 23, 2016 (Washington, DC) – Summit Senior Consultant Dr. Austin Lasseter will attend the 13th Biennial Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology (FCSM) Policy Conference on December 6-7, 2016. According to the registration page, "this two-day conference will bring together federal statisticians from all parts of government, along with users of federal data from the private and academic sectors to discuss and exchange current practices and statistical policy issues."

The FCSM preliminary program summarizes this year's area of focus: 

Members of the federal statistical system, and colleagues from academia and business will exchange information and advances in statistical policy and how other policies affect the statistical system. The 2016 conference is organized around the theme of adaptation to alternative data availability.
