Summit Adds New Consultant and Senior Consultants to Team This Summer

Kevin Danielson joins Summit as a Consultant and brings over six years of experience working as an Analyst and Financial Economist for Fannie Mae. His ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets, report on credit risk metrics, and develop loan loss mitigation solutions will be invaluable to the modeling and forecasting engagements that he will support. Mr. Danielson holds a Master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Also from Fannie Mae, Frank Caruso assumes the role of a Senior Consultant in our Quantitative Evaluation practice. Mr. Caruso’s experience in statistics and programming skills in SAS and SQL will bolster engagements with the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Additionally, Mr. Caruso possesses skills in risk modeling, economic valuation, and handling large databases, which make him well-suited to help lead some of Summit’s most complex projects. He holds an MA in economics from Boston University and is working on completing an MS in statistics at the George Washington University.

Dr. China Layne has experience leading multiple teams of researchers and analysts in the design and evaluation of multiple surveys. She has served as a Survey Statistician for the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as a Research Scientist for the Center for Human Services at the State University of New York at Albany. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the State University of New York at Albany. Dr. Layne will contribute her skills to engagements with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Chief Evaluation Office.

Our staff is looking forward to working with this diverse group of experienced professionals.
