New Staff Members Join Summit this May

In order to support Summit’s expanding portfolio of engagements, we have expanded our team by three this May. Specifically, we welcomed two Analysts and a Senior Analyst to the office.

Sebastian Ramirez joins us as an Analyst. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park this May with a Master’s degree in economics. He earned a B.A. in economics, minoring in mathematics, from the University of Colorado. His past work experience includes two internships with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, where he analyzed bond purchasing data to determine trends and forecast purchases. He will support Summit’s modeling and forecasting engagements.

Also joining us as an Analyst, Natalie Hinton obtained her Master’s degree in international economic relations from American University, and holds a B.A. in international studies and economics from UNC Chapel Hill. In her role as a Research Assistant with the American University MBA Program Committee, she drafted briefing materials and collected data on trends and characteristics within the program. She has advanced skills in Stata and Excel, which will be useful on the engagements she supports.

Sejla Karalic joins Summit as a Senior Analyst. She worked with Federal Reserve Board of Governors for two years in positions such as Briefing Assistant and Senior Research Assistant for the Labor Sector. She analyzed domestic labor market issues, often using Stata and Fame to manipulate data. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Akron.

We welcome Sebastian, Natalie, and Sejla!
