Jennifer Folsom Promoted to Chief of Corporate Development for Summit

Jennifer-Folsom_2015.jpgSummit is proud to announce that Jennifer Folsom has been promoted to Chief of Corporate Development. Ms. Folsom has been part of the Summit team since 2010.

As Chief of Corporate Development, Ms. Folsom will provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to execute Summit’s Strategic and Tactical Plans. She will deploy Summit’s vision for long-term Federal client development. In addition to leading firm-wide human capital and branding initiatives, Ms. Folsom will also manage support functions in operations and marketing. In short, Ms. Folsom is charged with developing Summit’s business and its people.

Ms. Jennifer Folsom has extensive experience in human capital management, recruiting, and branding. She has over 15 years of experience in the financial and consulting industries, leading large teams with responsibilities for multi-million dollar budgets.

In her previous position as Human Capital Manager at Summit, Ms. Folsom led recruitment and professional development efforts at the firm. She established an extensive on-campus recruiting effort and summer analyst internship program. Ms. Folsom supported Summit staff in their professional development by sourcing and coordinating in-house presentations on technical topic areas, including statistical programming, as well as pioneering Summit’s PEAKS (Professional Education and Knowledge Seminar) program. She also managed all branding, media, and client satisfaction initiatives. Before joining Summit, she was a Partner at Momentum Resources, an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company, and Founder of Radius Partners.

She earned an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, as well as a B.A. in business and economics from Randolph-Macon College. Ms. Folsom has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 2003.
