Howard Chern Joins Summit as an Analyst

This week, Summit welcomed a new Analyst to our team. Mr. Howard Chern graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2012 with two Bachelor’s degrees: one in economics (concentration in business policy) and one in music, specifically piano performance. Mr. Chern held various internships during his studies, including a position as a Finance Intern, in which he managed and analyzed financial data for 25 accounts payable in the amount of $20 million. As a Business Development Intern, Mr. Chern supported due diligence, contract negotiations, and transactions for $100 million constructions projects. At Summit, he will support the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) engagement, which provides a suite of Federal Credit services for a portfolio of more than 400 direct loans and loan guarantees. He is knowledgeable in Stata and multiple languages, such as Mandarin Chinese and German.
