Frieda Chung Earns PMP Certification

Last week, Ms. Frieda Chung passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam. This designation means that Ms. Chung has successfully learned and demonstrated core competencies to lead and direct high-value projects.

PMP certification is provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which also administers the exam. Applicants are tested on their understanding of five project management domains: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing a project. This intensive exam also tests understanding of processes and knowledge areas within those domains, with the goal of ensuring comprehensive ability to lead successful engagements.

Ms. Frieda Chung is a Manager with Summit and leads complex Federal Credit engagements. With over nine years of experience working in the financial and accounting industries, Ms. Chung has experience in cash flow modeling and managing large datasets for econometric analysis. She is currently serving on engagements for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Ms. Chung’s new PMP certification will add yet another level of technical and management expertise to her work.
