In fall of 2012, Summit welcomed a new Consultant to the team, Mr. Ferhat Bilgin. Mr. Bilgin joined Summit in September and uses time series econometric techniques to build forecasting models for monthly cash flow levels. Additional work includes updating and refining long-term forecasting models for a client's mandatory outlays and receipts items. Prior to joining our team, Mr. Bilgin worked for the World Bank in the Eastern European and Central Asia division as a Consultant, where he conducted analysis on business expectation and employment data for nine countries using Granger Causality tests and cointegration analysis. While working at Summit, Mr. Bilgin is concurrently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in economics at George Washington University. Mr. Bilgin has a strong background in computer programming, with a degree in computer science and proficiency in Stata, Matlab, C, and C++.
