Essam Published in Book Examining the Value of Information

Summit Consultant Tim Essam’s research in collaboration with Dr. Kenneth Leonard of the University of Maryland was published in the textbook The Value of Information: Methodological Frontiers and New Applications in Environment and Health. This text provides two approaches to explaining how information is useful in solving problems: public health and space. In regards to public health, the book discusses methodologies used to inform treatment decisions. The book also examines how information influences investments in satellites used to collect data about environmental factors that impact health, such as air quality.
