May 20, 2016 (Washington, DC) – Summit Consulting (Summit) announces today that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected the DC-based firm for a long-term contract to provide policy and infrastructure development for EPA's Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) Program.
Summit has supported EPA on the development of WIFIA since June 2015, and this new contract represents up to four additional years of advisory support. During this engagement, Summit will provide support in the development of WIFIA's programmatic infrastructure, standard operating procedures, credit policies, portfolio management, and credit subsidy estimates.

EPA's WIFIA Program was established under the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014. The program is designed to provide loans for the development of water infrastructure that satisfies national water infrastructure technological priorities and needs.
