Dr. Kreuter Honored with Award from Washington Statistical Society

Dr. Frauke Kreuter has been selected to receive this year’s Gertrude M. Cox Award from the Washington Statistical Society. She was selected based on her recent publication, “Big Data in Survey Research: Analyzing Process Information (Paradata).”

The Washington Statistical Society will present Dr. Kreuter with the award at their annual dinner on June 25, 2013. Established in 2003, the award is presented annually to a statistician in early to mid-career. It rewards these professionals for their work in an area of applied statistics, such as survey methodology, experimental design, statistical computing, and biostatistics, to which Gertrude Cox contributed and advocated.

Dr. Kreuter is a Summit Academic Associate and recognized expert in survey methodology, focusing on survey sampling and sampling errors in complex surveys. She has published multiple textbooks and academic papers on the subject.

Congratulations from all of us at Summit, Dr. Kreuter!
