Summit CFO Antoinette Merrill will be presenting at Deltek’s Insight 2014 conference, held this November in Orlando, FL. Ms. Merrill will lead two sessions: “Budgeting and Planning Best Practices” and “Using Deltek First as a Management Tool, Not a History Book.”
Ms. Merrill’s first session, “Budgeting and Planning Best Practices,” was well-attended last year and focuses on project-level reporting. Specifically, she’ll discuss the learning process and return on investment (ROI) of reporting and exchanging ideas at the project level, and how this can lead to unexpected benefits. This session also includes resource planning, Estimates to Complete (ETCs), and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
A new session this year, “Using Deltek First as a Management Tool, Not a History Book,” focuses on the Deltek First software and how it can be used to inform forecasting and business decisions. Ms. Merrill will present this session together with Susan Smith of WJT Technologies, a sponsor of the conference.
Insight 2014 will be held November 12-14th.
