As models increase in complexity it is important to assess Federal agency understanding and mastery of model risk. Federal regulators are increasingly issuing guidance on managing model risk, therefore federal agencies should aim to meet similarly high standards for their own model development, implementation, and use. This training translates supervisory guidance and best practices into principles easily understood by federal risk managers and model owners.

In this half-day training, participants will learn:

  • Useful and practical guidance for model governance and risk management
  • Best practices to implement quick improvements in model governance
  • How to incorporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and the GAO Green Book into model risk management
  • How to easily strengthen documentation for auditors, internal control groups, and other oversight authorities.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of a robust model risk management framework that includes model development, validation, risk assessment, control, and monitoring.

Join fellow risk managers for this invitation-only event.
