Sampling and Survey Methodology Fellowship

Beginning in 2014, Summit partnered with the University of Maryland’s Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) to establish a fellowship for current employees interested in earning graduate certificates in the specializations of sampling and survey methodology.

The fellowship is offered to employees who seek to further their career development with new insights and knowledge in the discipline. Summit fully sponsors the courses, and allows employees to adjust their work schedules to accommodate classes and study time.

The JPSM was founded in 1993 and offers graduate-level training in survey research principles and practices. Summit has been familiar with the JPSM for many years, having worked with Dr. Frauke Kreuter, a professor in the program, and Dr. Richard Valliant, who teaches within the program and also serves as Associate Director.
